Stephanie Stanley (or Stephania, as her Greek family calls her) is a New York City-based photographer. Her work can be found on Glamour, ELLE, Harper’s BAZAAR, Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Marie Claire, TODAY, Spotlyte, and Teen Vogue. Her client list includes Grayson, Levi’s, JCPenney, Clean & Clear, Microsoft, Olay, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Garnier, TRESemmé, Estée Lauder, Nexxus, GAP, Secret, and more.
Known for approaching every shoot with a fresh eye, positive energy, and efficient working style, Stephanie successfully captures the look and feel of each brand and subject matter. Stephanie holds an MFA in Photography from Parsons and lives in Brooklyn with her husband, two daughters, and puppy, where she can be found running along Brooklyn Bridge Park and enjoying chocolate croissants from the local Italian bakery (typically in that exact order).FAQs
What’s your process?
Interested in working together? For weddings, start by sending a quick email to fill me in on the general details of your wedding: location, date, approximate number of guests, and times. I’ll send over a rate sheet with three different package options accompanied by plenty of à la carte choices as well. All rates include a second shooter.
For kids, send me an email with the number of family members, kid ages, and location. All family photography is done either at your home or at a pre-chosen location outdoors. I have a good handful of favorite spots, but happy to visit a place meaningful to you and your family. I’ll send over a family package sheet with three different options.
Do you travel?
I love a destination wedding! I had one myself and know just how special it can be.
What can I expect after our shoot?
For weddings, I’ll send over a link with high-res jpegs within four weeks after your wedding. Images will be batch edited so they are polished and ready to print and post! We can also arrange for you to receive a sneak peek of 5-10 images within the first week after your big day.
For family sessions, I’ll send over a link with high-res jpegs two weeks after our shoot together. All images will be batch edited so they are polished and ready to print and post!
Do you retouch?
Up all night the day before our shoot? Kiddo managed to stain their shirt within five minutes of putting the carefully selected outfit on? No problem! Retouching is included on a select few of images in some of the packages. Want more than the package stipulates? We can add it on à la carte. Rates depend on the amount of retouching requested but can include anything from making everyone look like they’ve gotten 12 hours of sleep to removing that annoying car in the background.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept Venmo, Zelle, check, or cash.
What’s your payment schedule?
For weddings, there is a 20% deposit due at booking. The remainder of the payment is due on the wedding day.
For family sessions, payment is due on the shoot day.
